How we do it
While many believe that preparation and maintenance of financial records is for filing and paying Taxes, this cannot be any further from the truth. Proper financial records are meant to primarily help a business owner or manager make informed decisions that are supported by available data. Below are detailed steps on how we do it with our clients with a view to save costs and deliver quality on a timely basis.
Step-1: Records/File Collection
All information is shared online/digitally via Whats App, email, Google drive or Drop box. In rare cases when the records are huge, they can be posted through our Post office address. The documents required include Invoices, Bills, Receipts, Bank statements, Credit card statements, Petty cash and Salaries Vouchers, Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders among others. You will be required to put serial numbers in each of the documents and then take a photo/Scan them and send them to us via email/Whats App or upload them in Google Drive or Drop Box and give us remote access. This can be done on a weekly or monthly basis depending on the transactions involved.
Step-2: Preparation of the Accounts
We will process your income, expenses, payroll and other information in our accounting tools. We will then reconcile your bank/credit card statement and complete bookkeeping. Finally, we will prepare your management reports, month end/year end accounts, profit & loss statement, balance sheet and other financial reports specific to your needs.

Step-3: You receive the final accounts
We will send your accounting reports as soon as they are completed which is normally 6 days after the month end for the monthly clients. We will then discuss with you for any corrections. Finally, after getting your approval we will file the statutory returns with the relevant authorities including the Kenya Revenue Authority.
